Sunday outing

We drove to the Hartebeespoort Dam yesterday morning but didn't get much further than Jasmyn, the large, imitation windmill style supermarket / farmers' market close to the dam. This is because the dreary weather made doing things outside less possible.

We spent some time browsing in the books section at Jasmyn where I bought the children a book about the human body. I read them the section on how the heart works this morning.

After the rain stopped we had a picnic in the garden at Jasmyn.

Miekie and Pieter both got long-dreamed-about presents for Christmas: a camera and a new bicycle respectively!
